Solar Yard Lights
Solar yard lights are the easiest type of light to install. No running wires and paying high electricity bills for your outdoor lighting needs.
You simply install them in a location where they will get plenty of sunlight during the day so they have an adequate charge to run at night.
Most solar lights give a much softer less glaring light than the conventional electric lights. It is a lot more inviting and less of an abrupt in your face kind of lighting. It will give your yard a more appealing touch that I’m sure you will love.
From time to time all solar lights will need to have their batteries changed with a special rechargeable battery that is designed for solar lighting.
Solar yard lights have many advantages, for one they are cost effective environmentally friendly and they give off no heat. If that don’t convince the average homeowner to put solar yard lights on their homes or in their yards then I’m not sure what will.
Another thing that I noticed and think looks really neat is putting solar lights in the cemetery. It has an awesome affect that leaves the place looking very quiet and peaceful at night.

When deciding what type of solar light you want to install you need to be careful because not all of them are of the same quality. Usually you can tell by the price if you’re getting a good product or one that is built cheap.
The ones that I recommend you avoid at all cost is those cheap plastic models. They are not very well built and will degrade in the sun very quickly even after the first year you have to be careful not to bump them or they fall apart.
Another thing I’ve noticed with these cheap knock offs is the fact that not all them work the same. Some of them turn on at erratic times or not at all. I seen one that would turn on during the day, not really what you want in a solar yard light.
I have also noticed that a lot of those cheap models will not keep their charge very long or don’t give out even lighting if they light up at all when purchased as a set.
With that being said, I recommend you shop around for the best price on a more expensive type of solar yard light. I try and find ones made of metal as they will handle the sun a whole lot better. It is also advised that you look for ones that have more than one light inside as they will give a better light.
